Christmas like it used to be

Biscuit baking, storytelling, nativity scenes and the scent of hot chestnuts and fruit punch. The Advent celebrations in Kitzbühel bring childhood memories flooding back.

The Christmas market in the historic town centre opens on 27 November and welcomes visitors between 2pm and 8pm from Wednesday to Friday and from 11am to 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The lovingly decorated stalls are full of Tyrolean delicacies and traditional handcrafted products and live performances by local choirs and music groups create a festive atmosphere. Children can speed up the wait for Santa with Christmas crafts, bread baking, pony riding or a ride on the historic carousel and anyone who still needs to write a letter to Santa can stop by the Kitzbüheler Anzeiger writing workshop.
